Jetlagged...
Arrived safely in Rome! I am extremely exhausted and have been awake for at least 26 hours or so...sleep? I say no. Dinner in our neighborhood instead! Orientation is beginning and I will be busy for the next couple days traveling to Assisi and Umbria. I will get back when classes begin. First impression= whelmed (not under or over, just whelmed) and excited. I have a feeling good things will happen.

Hi Megan, I am happy to know you arrived in Rome safely. Hopefully you've got some rest.I cannot wait to read your impressions of Assisi. St. Francis is one of my favorite Saints.I spoke with your Dad this a.m. I was invited down to (what else, watch a football game. the Dallas cowboys are playing.) But I am going to Mass at my friend's church, and then out to brunch. So it will be a great Sunday. I hope you had a good day.
